Dr Mark Cull
Mark’s belief is that you never stop learning and improving.
Mark’s experience in dentistry is secondary to none in Gympie, building on 30 years of dental practice since his graduation from the University of Queensland with Honours, he is continually undertaking training.
He excels with people and has the capacity to help you feel at ease and in confident hands once you are in his dental chair. Whether it’s a troubling tooth, crooked teeth, missing teeth or a fresh look you are after, Mark is comfortable with all aspects of dentistry and all ages.
If you need a Master Clinician of dental implants then that’s what you get right here in our regional town of Gympie. Graduating from Global Institute of Dental Implants and Loma Linda University with top class Honours, Mark has then gone onto further study to incorporate bone grafting within his scope of practice, so clients with complex cases can be treated here in town.
Crooked teeth are treated by Mark with either traditional braces or Invisalign, graduating with Honours from Progressive Orthodontics he is very skilled to know which modality to apply that will bring you the best results or a combination of both.
Holistic dentistry is a large part of Mark’s philosophy when consulting with all patients and as such he takes part in the Sunshine Coast Integrative Medical Study Club. He meets with like-minded health practitioners from various fields of medicine to discuss assorted and diverse health matters. He has a firm belief the practice of dentistry is most effective for his patients when working with the body as a whole as opposed to treating the mouth in isolation. Along with an in-depth analysis of patient’s oral health, Dr Mark reviews the function of their airways, breathing patterns, sleep behaviours, nutrition and general wellbeing. Mark will then work closely with the patient’s other health practitioners to care for them in a holistic sense.
Mark’s passion for dentistry and wealth of knowledge is evident in every appointment. His gentle yet confident nature will have you feeling in very safe hands.
Mark has always been an active member of the Gympie community, participating fully in Apex events especially the Gympie Music Muster; supporting Qld Cancer Council Relay for Life and the Heart of Gold Film Festival from its inception and now as an active member of Rotary.
Mark certainly lives life to the full. If not studying the latest dental techniques you will find him relaxing with his family at Rainbow Beach or out on his bike training or at the gym working out.
