CARING FOR THE LITTLE SMILES WITH KIDS DENTAL IN GYMPIE
Children's needs are different.
As children’s dental needs are different to those of adults, our Gympie dental team are trained in general children’s (or paediatric) dentistry and provide a positive, gentle, educational environment for your children to learn about good oral health care.
We welcome all discussions about the oral health of your child.
We understand the anxiousness that many parents and children experience when going to the dentist.
Our approach is non-invasive, gentle and positive.
"Visits from an early age are encouraged, ask our staff."
OUR APPROACH - GENTLE AND POSITIVE
Differing Roles.
Our team of Dental Hygienists, Oral Health Therapists and Dentists all play differing roles in children’s dental development and care.
Our aim is to equip you and your child with all the necessary information and techniques to learn the importance of good dental health and hygiene from an early age.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT FOR LITTLE SMILES.
Monitor development.
Just like watching your child develop through their milestones for learning, it is important for your dental team to monitor the key development stages of the teeth and mouth.
Regular visits ensure we can watch the health of their teeth and gums and identify whether orthodontic intervention may be needed early.
Early regular visits help.
We have found the kids who visit us as early as possible are more used to the sights, smells and more importantly the sounds of the dentist.
Even if it's just accompanying you to your regular check-up this will get them used to the dental practice and can help reduce dental anxiety later in life.
Creating New Habits
An important part of children's dental care is education. Our team of dental professionals have a wide range of strategies to help teach your children about good oral health habits and caring for their teeth.
