UNDERSTANDING DENTURES
Removable - full or partial - all individually crafted.
Dentures (also known as false teeth) are removable appliances that replace teeth. At Channon Lawrence Dental we can replace all the teeth using a full denture or only some of them with partial dentures.
Appear Natural & Smile with Confidence.
-
Dentures are custom-made to fit your mouth, so they can appear like natural teeth.
-
Advances in ceramic porcelain technology mean you can have beautiful, aesthetic dentures which mirror a natural smile.
-
We can also hide the attachments of the traditional metal hooks used to hold partial dentures in place. They will look natural and you’ll be able to smile with confidence again.
-
We find whilst being fitted, patients often take this opportunity to whiten the surrounding teeth. The new partial denture teeth can be matched to the whiter, brighter colour to give you a sparkling smile!

COMPLETE / FULL DENTURES
IMMEDIATE DENTURES
Missing All Teeth?
-
Complete or full dentures are custom-made for people who have lost all their teeth and need to replace an entire set of teeth.
-
These dentures restore the shape and look of your natural teeth. Whilst they won't restore your natural chewing force like dental implants or All-on-4 treatment, complete dentures will improve your ability to chew and masticate.
-
Dental implants or All-On-4 are offered at Channon Lawrence Dental.
Temporary solution.
-
Immediate dentures are a temporary solution to allow you to eat and talk after all your teeth are extracted.
-
After extraction, we must wait for the extraction site and jawbone to heal which is where immediate dentures come into play.
-
Your dentist will advise how long these need to be used for and when your permanent dentures can be placed.
PARTIAL DENTURES
IMPLANT-SUPPORTED DENTURES
Missing Some Teeth?
-
Partial Dentures are designed to replace some missing teeth in your mouth.
-
This style of denture is usually attached to a gum-coloured base made of plastic.
-
Like complete dentures, they will restore a natural look ad feel to your smile and help with the function of your mouth.
-
Partial dentures are commonly recommended for patients that are not suitable for dental implant support bridge treatment.
Suitable for Implants?
-
Implant-supported dentures provide are generally a little more stable and robust compared to removable dentures.
Missing all your teeth or only a few left?
-
At Channon Lawrence Dental, we focus on helping our patients achieve a full, healthy smile using the All-on-4® dental implant solution.
-
