- Dr Mark CullDentist
Mark is a very experienced and highly skilled dentist with over 30 years of dental practice. Having graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours over 3 decades ago, he continues to undergo annual training to ensure his knowledge, techniques, equipment and care are the most modern available.
Over the past thirty years, Mark has expanded his dental knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry. His two most recent academic achievements have been graduating with Honours from Progressive Orthodontics and graduating from Global Institute of Dental Implants and Loma Linda University with top class Honours. Mark specialises in orthodontics and dental implants and has a genuine passion in doing so.
Mark is part of the Sunshine Coast Integrative Medical Study Club. He meets with like-minded health practitioners from various fields of medicine to discuss assorted and diverse health matters. He has a firm belief the practice of dentistry is most effective for his patients when working with the body as a whole as opposed to treating the mouth in isolation. Along with an in-depth analysis of patient’s oral health, Dr Mark reviews the function of their airways, breathing patterns, sleep behaviours, nutrition and general wellbeing. Mark will then work closely with the patient’s other health practitioners to care for them in a holistic sense.
Mark’s passion for dentistry and wealth of knowledge is evident in every appointment. His gentle yet confident nature will have you feeling in very safe hands.
Mark has always been an active member of the Gympie community, participating fully in Apex events especially the Gympie Muster; supporting Qld Cancer Council Relay for Life and the Heart of Gold Festival from its inception.
Mark certainly lives life to the full. If not studying the latest dental techniques you will find him relaxing with his family at Rainbow Beach or out on his bike training for triathlons.
- Dr Branka StarcevicDentist
Branka was a fellow graduate along with Mark from the University of Queensland. She too has over 3 decades of dental experience.
Branka particularly enjoys the Invisalign® straighter teeth system (she’s Gympie’s only accredited Invisalign® practitioner), preventative and cosmetic care and rebuilding teeth with the Cerec one visit system.
Branka won the prestigious Gympie Women in Business Excellent Awards title of Employee of the Year in 2012 for her contribution to the care of patients and work colleagues. (We think we’re pretty lucky to have her)!
Branka’s warm, caring personality is fabulous at putting even the most nervous patient at ease.
Proud mum to Georgia, Branka has a strong sense of community and is involved in many Gympie events. Not only does she volunteer at the Gympie Muster, she personally hosts annual fund raising functions for charities such as the McGrath Foundation, Relay for Life, Miss Pavilion Showgirl and the Everyone Needs a Farmer dinner.
Branka has been proud to call Gympie home for the past 17 years.
